Evaluation Awareness of Parents about Use of Medications in Children

Background: Proper use of medications in outpatients, as an important issue, especially children, should be considered. Objectives: The aim this study was to evaluate the awareness parents about consumption medications. Methods: This interventional conducted on patients’ referred Amir Kabir Hospital. First, a medical history taken, and then they completed compiled questionnaire. After completing checklist by parents, were educated general information how medicines. Before after education proper medications, data analyzed with SPSS software. Results: From one hundred evaluated cases, mean standard deviation (SD) age 4.3 ± 2.4. In addition, we observed statistically significant differences between level parental before intervention. Conclusions: any education, training is necessary important.
